Pacific Orchestra was born in Key West when David "Khan" Johnson (Vocals and Guitar) and John Gladstone (Flute, Sax and Vocals) first appeared in the mid 1970s as a duo performing at the New Street Bar located in a lush garden behind Delmonico's, the notorious gay disco. Through the years the ensemble grew in size as many talented and crazy musicians left their indelible mark on the sexy Caribbean rock which Pacific Orchestra performed up and down the east coast through the 1980s. They played cool and hot original music to crowds dancing under the Key West moon, the New York skyline, and points between. It was a good run.
